Laser Hair Removal
We are pleased to offer the most recent advance in laser treatment for patients desiring a comfortable, effective way to remove unwanted hair. With a beam of laser light, we can help you solve the problem of unwanted hair and unveil your naturally smooth skin. Laser therapy is a thoroughly tested, clinically proven method of hair removal. Treatment is relatively quick, painless and it removes unwanted body hair without damaging the surrounding skin.
Laser Hair Removal is performed by our physicians and physician assistants.
Both men and women seek hair removal. Common areas for treatment include the face, neck, ears, shoulders, back, underarm, legs, bikini lines, and even hands and toes. Although these areas are the most common it is possible to treat hair in almost any areas of the body.
A single treatment generally is performed in less than a half hour and patients can return immediately to their daily activities with no “down time.” A series of treatments are scheduled from between 4 to 8 weeks apart to achieve the desired goal.
Schedule a consultation
Each patient presents a unique need. It is important to schedule a consultation to determine your goals for hair removal. After a brief examination the doctor can advise you on the number of sessions that will likely be needed to achieve your desired results.
Is Hair Removal covered by insurance?
All insurance plans are different so it is important for you to check with your carrier. In general, because hair removal is not considered a medical necessity, it would be classified as a cosmetic procedure and would not be eligible for reimbursement.
Botox® Cosmetic Treatments
Botox has become a popular form of safe and effective facial rejuvenation. It temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases and lines around the eyes commonly called “crows feet.” Its result is to make a person look refreshed, revitalized and younger.
Botox works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles, while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. Treatment involves the injection of very tiny amounts of Botox into targeted areas. It is non-invasive and non-surgical and requires little or no “down-time.” Results are best after two or three days and treatments can last up to six months.
Be sure to ask your physician for complete information.
Juvederm
Juvederm is an injectable gel that smooths away wrinkles and folds in your skin and bringing back its volume. As your skin ages it reduces production of a naturally hydrating substanced, called hyaluronic acid (or "HA," for short). The loss of HA results in wrinkles and folds, like those "parentheses" lines around your mouth.
Juvederm is a smooth-consistency HA gel and the only HA filler that is FDA approved to last up to one year. A Juvederm treatment consists of an office visit where the injectable gel is eased under the skin to instantly smooth the wrinkles and folds on your face. Results are seen immediately.
Juvederm injectable gel is indicated for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. It works equally well for men and women. There may be mild or moderate side effects with Juvederm so be sure to ask your physician for complete information.
